Terri-Spinning fiber. I’m obsessed. Also really watching a lot of yarn dying videos and tutorials. Nicole Frost (frostyarn)on Instagram and youtube. She’s a really real person which I appreciate. SO MUCH HELPFUL information. Highly recommend it. Puts out really great content.

Libby: Received my ‘Both is Good’ bisexual flag in Pearl DK - it is BEAUTIFUL and now I need to find a project to crochet with it.
Lots of gorgeous Crochet pieces at Forest - Lindsitch (Insta) has been sharing a lot of pieces she found and talking about supporting independent crocheters as fast fashion crochet is all done by hand.

Episode 8: That's Some Heavy Damage

Terri: Garden is Whoooooo. It has been so HOT. It was 94 today, which it’s NUTS. Friday I have a spinning class!
Libby:Work has been so busy.Busy getting ready for Electric Forest - lots of prep including cleaning cars, camping gear, buying supplies, etc. 4 days long
PAWS
Terri: Unbearable Hoodie- I am at the body ribbing! I think I might do the hood next instead of the sleeves.
Gramps Cardigan- did work on this, made about an inch of progress
Mountain Doodle Cowl-(RAVELRY LINK WARNING) check progress, did work on a bit
Mystic Square-by James Watts - set aside this week
Making Biscuits Socks- I did cast this on, but not as socks.
SPINNING PAWS-I spun about 2oz of Shetland. Plied it on Friday. Will be washing and drying today. I started some multicolor gray and white BFL. Almost half of 8 oz spun up. Love the way BFL spins.

Terri: I have been looking at purposely shopping from LGBTQIA+ shop owners.
Made a donation to the Trevor Project via flannelandpurls. He has a fabulous instagram and he is doing a giveaway on his instagram. Check it out. You can join the giveaway through June 30th. All the details are on posts in his instagram which I will link in the show notes.
Next Shiny, I am obsessed with rolags and ordered blending board materials and a few things to make rolags. That will be an experiment. I will post pictures. I ordered a variety of things from a variety of places and I’m excited to start playing with it.
Libby: Non-fiber related craft. fake flowers.

Terri: Talks about a lovely weekend and yarn dyeing last Saturday. It was run by two sisters who also run the North Dakota Handspinners group. Their names are Julie Magnall and Jeanne Roster. Their website is www.NDhandspinners.com
Libby: Had a little bbq with some friends on Friday night. Ribs, cornbread, potato salad etc. Watched adventure time & played cornhole.

Then it will be about time to split for the sleeves. I expect to hit that this weekend. My husband has another show so I might bring that if I’ve gotten past the colorwork section.
